How to claim/accept gigs?

You will receive a notification via email or CG inbox that your client has:

  1. Created a brief that is Open for Claim

  2. Created a direct Assigned brief for you

  3. Transferred a pitch submission into a brief

Email/CG Inbox notification:

  • Please review the brief and do the following:

    • If it’s an open brief: click on the Claim as Writer button.

    • If the brief is assigned to you: click on the “Accept/Decline” button.

  • After you successfully Claim/Accept the brief/assignment, you can start writing your draft and submitting it accordingly.

Please note that Open for claim Briefs are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. All the freelancers in the client’s talent pool will receive the notification to claim the brief.

Submitting your draft

  1. ContentGrow accepts Google Docs; you must set the permission to Anyone can edit.

  2. You cannot edit submitted draft URLs. Please inform the client via Direct Message about the correct URL if you made a mistake.

Important: Note that briefs have deadlines. Please complete your work and do not miss your deadline. If, in any case, you wish to request an extension, please get in touch with your client and discuss it accordingly.

Failing to meet your deadlines regularly will result in the decrease of your reliability score. This will affect your chances of landing inbound gigs.
